28-Year-Old Sales supervisor, known as Jenny said she was in a relationship with 3 sugar daddies in 2 years time, and she stressed that sugar babies are not ” Sex workers”.
Jenny from Malaysia, who is currently living in Singapore, working as a sales supervisor and part-time model told media, 2 years ago her friend told her about the sugar daddy and baby dating app. where her friend earned additional income to travel in Europe. She was curious and tried out the app too.
The app location based in Kuala Lumpur, however it does have 85k to 90k members in Singapore, 1 million members worldwide. The said app was founded at 2017.
Jenny told the press honestly, before she registered herself as a member she do have a lot of concerns too. ” What if the app is a hanky-panky site, what if after sugar daddy pay and i was asked to have sex with them?”
But 2 years after becoming a sugar baby, she said, ” The traditional match making app like Tinder and TanTan never guarantee where the relationship led us to. Probably, the relationship will just ended after a few dates. But at least this sugar daddy and baby app, you will have return in terms of money.”
Jenny further revealed that she will never date man above 45-year-old, and within the 2 years she have 3 sugar daddies, and her current sugar daddy is a Singaporean entrepreneur in his 30s and ever month her sugar daddy will be paying her SGD 8,000 to SGD 10,000( RM24,000 to RM30,000). But, she said those relationship is without an intimacy ground.
” I will not have any intimate relationship with my sugar daddy unless they are my long term partner, then I will consider.”
Jenny said her monthly salary and money from sugar daddy will sum up to around SGD 14,000 (RM 42,000). She will save one third of her income and partly to spend on her nail and facial care, partly for her Europe tour fund and partly to send back to her family in Malaysia.
Most of her friends knew that she is a sugar baby. But she didn’t tell her family, because she don’t think her parents can accept it.
The spoke person from the app said a 30% increase of members can be seen since May 2020, and 60% of the members wanted to get extra income during the pandemic.
