Dear fellow Malaysian, please stay at home ! The government has declared a month-long Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) that will be implement starting from 9 November until 6 December 2020.
Senior Minister for Security and Minister of Defence, Dato Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announce that all states in Peninsular Malaysia will be put under CMCO except for Perlis, Pahang, and Kelantan. This is due to surge of positive Covid-19 cases in those states.
For states that are already under CMCO, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor and affected districts in Sabah, they will be continued with the restricted movement for another 28 days.
This CMCO has the same SOP as the previous CMCO. So, let’s revise a bit about the SOPs that we have to follow under this restriction:
- Only 2 person from each family are allowed to go out to buy daily necessaries.
- Inter-district or inter-state movement is not allowed except with official work letter.
- Public transport service such as taxi, e-hailing, LRT, ERL, and MRT are allowed for operation.
- Taxi / e-hailling service (minimum 2 passengers) and food delivery service are allowed for operation from 6 am until 12 am.
- Business sectors such as restaurant, food trucks, food hawkers, convenient stores, grocery stores and more can operate from 6 am until 10 pm.
- Drive-thru, take-away and and delivery are encourage
- Petrol Station are allowed for operation from 6 am to 10 pm. However, petrol station on highway are allowed to operate for 24 hours.
