Father of a newborn was panic in the middle of the night, as the newborn was crying for milk. With no other option, the father went out to get the baby some milk powder. He was stopped by 2 police officers, but after knowing his reason of outing. One of the police officer, also a father bring him to Police ( PDRM) headquarters and gave him a box of milk powder.
The thankful father took it to social media to show his appreciation to the police officers that offered to help. The heart-warming story was then widely shared by netizens on social media.
The first time father, Zul Hilmy wrote in the post, ” I’m from Kampung Bemban Senaling wanted to go to 7-11 in to buy milk powder for my newborn. I was stopped in front of 7-11 by the police patrol team .
“I have no option but to head out to buy milk powder because my wife have insufficient breast milk for my baby, my baby was crying due to hunger. I didn’t realised during CMCO all the shops only allowed to operate until 10pm.
“Thus, i was stopped by 2 police officers, Tuan Dini and Tuan Fikri who were on duty. They brought me back to the PDRM headquarters and Tuan Dini gave me a box of milk powder. I would like thanked them for helping me.”
The two police officers met Zul on Nov 24 at around 1am midnight, they were told his 1-day-old baby was crying due to hunger, because his wife do not have sufficient breast milk for the baby. Thus, he head out from home in the middle of the night.
Thought of buying milk powder from 7-11. However, he only realised no shop was allowed to operate after 10pm during CMCO.
Understand the hardship the new father went through, one of the officer who is also a father offered his help by giving a box of his infant’s milk powder to him. They even brought the father to PDRM headquarter to pick up the milk powder.
