An Indonesian worker who wanted to cross the stream to buy things at supermarket was snatched and killed by a crocodile, only half body was found at Kuala Baram industrial estate, Miri, Sarawak on Oct 27.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Nasution. He was a worker from plywood factory, located next to Sungai Bilat. He was believed wanted to go nearby supermarket to buy things, reported by The Star.
“A friend saw him being snatched by a crocodile while walking on the pipeline,” said the spoke person from Lopeng Fire Station department.
However, they did not report the incident and trying to search the victim on their own. The plywood factory only report the incident about the missing worker 3 days later.
Muhammad’s remains, his head and shoulders were retrieved a day later and were handed over to the Miri police.
There are some fake news on social media that the crocodile was caught, but after verification from China Press. Those photo was so old photo and the killer croc is still out there!
