That’s the last note to his wife and children from 58-year-old, Ahmad Mohamad Talib, one of the victim that succumbed to the Covid-19 infection on Nov 18 in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Perak.
His eldest daughter shared his father last hand-written note on social media, it garnered netizens’ attention. The heart-broken daughter, Fika said she was the only one that witnessed the cremation of the late father from far.
Only herself, her husband and one of the children were not infected, the rest of the family members contracted the virus and were receiving treatments in the hospital now.
That was the note that late father wrote on a piece of paper before he was unconscious on the night of Monday.
She urged everyone to adhere to the SOP given, practise social distancing. Take care of yourself as well as your family and stressed that ” Covid-19 isn’t a joke, guys!”
According to Harian Metro, the family members are not allowed to keep the last note from their late father, as the virus might left on the piece of paper. However, some family members do have the last video call with him on the night of Monday before he was induced coma.
The 58-year-old father conditions deteriorated after the hospitalisation thus the doctor decided to induce coma.
Fika also told media, ” Only me was allowed to attend his cremation and only witnessed it from far. I’m sad that couldn’t kiss my father for the one last time before he was cremated.
“Covid-19 is very dangerous! It took my father’s life in just few weeks time.”
