Public outraged over a viral video on 13-year-old girl who died in a car accident, her body was left “unattended” in hospital morgue and nibbled by a stray dog.
According to NDTV, the disturbing video was taken in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, India on Nov 26, after the girl reportedly died in a car accident. However, it’s not known whether the girl died on the spot or in the hospital.
In the 20s footage, the stray dog can be seen standing on its hind legs as it peaks its head under the white cloth covering the body in an isolated area of a hospital.
Of course, the girl’s family was fumed over the incident. The father claimed her daughter’s body was left unattended for 1.5 hours.
“It is a matter of negligence on the hospital’s part. No one was there to look after the body,” Chandra singh, father of the deceased said.
The Samajwadi Party, a political party based in New Delhi, tweeted the video calling for “strict action” to be taken and giving its condolences to the “heartbroken family”.

A cleaner and attendant have been suspended by the hospital after the horrifying incident. But anyhow, the hospital spoke person disputes the father’s claims and said the body only left unattended for “a minute”
They further explained that they acknowledged the stray dog problems and already notified the civil authorities but no action been taken. So, the hospital shouldn’t be the one to blame.
