Japan Has To Stop Selling Milo When Faces Supply Shortage After Skyrocketed Demand Due To These Reason!

As a Malaysian, our country definitely loves milo. Iced milo, Milo dinosaur, and Shaved ice milo are definitely a Milo cuisine that you can only get in Malaysia. We can never imagine that the company will need to force stop production because of high demand.

Well, apparently, that happens in Japan. In Japan, Nestle’ has to stop the production of Milo after the demand spikes up to seven times more than before. It started during July 2020, where there is a tweet blow up that garnered over 11K retweets and 31K likes.

In the tweet, it said that after consumption of Milo, the person has no more dizziness, better bladder healthy, no more daytime sleepiness, better skin condition, better mental stability and become less hungry. Not only that, but the person also said that milo is better than protein.

In August 2020, another Tweet went viral and garnered over 30K retweets and 92K likes. In the post, the person said that after a month of drinking Milo every morning, the person feels much better after waking up. The person used to feel tired 24-hours a day and had no motivation to do anything, but now feel refreshed.

These tweets have attracted many people’s attention and thus, the spiked demand for milo.

However, due to the pandemic, the company have a hard time to get the supply, which consequently, they have to announce that sales of its 240g, 700g, and five-stick Milo Original variants would be halted until March 2021 at the earliest. They are seeking to establish a supply framework to allow the company to meet the high demand.
