Every year, we must have a goal but one goal that stood out in most people is being healthy or diet. This man shared his journey to 2021 by 54KG  for around 5 months on Twitter The tweet garnered over 1K retweets and 7K likes!

He started off with reason. He said if you don’t have a big why for wanting to lose weight, it will be hard to be disciplined with your diet or plan. That is why you have to find a strong reason in order for you to be disciplined with yourself.

He also shared that he really took care of his diet. He read that if you want to lose weight, you need to take 80% food intake and 20% work out. So, he really strict with his food intake. He also cut sugar. His food plan consists of a calorie deficit and clean eats. He still eats rice but he tried not to consume oily, fast food, and so on. His shared that his body needs 2200 calorie a day and he only consumes 1200 to lose weight. He also used an application to monitor calorie intake. He really takes care of his food intake that even his mother brought him food, he had to decline it.

As time is something he has, he makes time for working out at least 6 times a week. 2-3 times a week he would hit the gym. He doesn’t want to skip the gym because if he loses weight, loose skin will be a problem. But, he said that if other people want to lose weight with only a food diet, it is welcome for them since there are some people who achieved their goals with the method. But, if you want a much better result, try to make time exercising. If too busy, he said that he would make himself walk more by park his car far.

Know your body and your own limit. He shared he don’t know if in academic is being shared but he said that you need to know if you are okay with this food or that food. Somebody reacts differently with some food like this food can make people lose weight but this food can make you gain weight. So, knowing your body is really important.

Another motivation that he used is by purchasing a shirt that smaller than his. So he used it as an inspiration for him to lose weight because he wants to wear the shirt.

If he craves food, he opted to watch mukbang. He shared a few YouTubers that make mukbang content that he likes and sometimes, he even open his mouth when they eat. Not only that, he made a wishlist for the places he wants to eat after he achieves his goals to motivate himself.

Furthermore, he said that he doesn’t like posting on social media during his journey because sometimes you will get unnecessary pressure from people. There are some people who will make you feel down, so he decided it’s better for the result to speak for itself.
