Owner Shared How Remorseful His Chow Chow After Unintentionally Scratched His Cornea

Saint Bernard, Newfoundland, and Great Pyrenees are known for being a great pet for families with children as they are very gentle giants. But, one thing about big breed dogs is sometimes, they forget that they are big! This post on Facebook garnered over 63K likes and 22K likes after an owner shared how his Chow Chow accidentally scratched his cornea.

The story started with the owner was watching Netflix on his bed. Then, Moose, a Chow Chow breed, mounted on his bed asking for a chest rub. However, the puppy suddenly lost his balance and hit the owner’s right eyes also tore a layer of the cornea! He was rushed to the nearest hospital for an emergency. Lucky it was not that deep and he was given medication.

As the owner went back home, he called Moose. The puppy hides under the bed as he was scared. The owner was not mad as it just an accident. He tried calling Moose again and he slowly walked out and placed his head on the owner’s lap.  But the owner Shihtzu, Orea was a bit overprotective over the incident got mad at Moose that the owner had to separate them. Moose kept feels bad and keep checking over the owner, every hour.

Fast forward, to prevent this incident from happening again, the owner asked his brother to cut Moose’s nails.

Everything turns out to find the owner noted that it is noted the dog’s fault. He also added that he can’t get mad at the furbabies as they are so cute!
