On the 20th November, Do Thi Ha, a 19-year-old contestant from the north-central province of Thanh Hoa, was crowned Miss Vietnam 2020.Miss Vietnam is a prestigious beauty pageant in Vietnam that only held once every two years.
The final night of the Miss Vietnam 2020 was organized at Phu Tho Stadium in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City.Furthermore, It was broadcast live on national TV channel VTV3 and relayed on 14 other broadcasters also social media platforms.
Born in 2001, this 175cm tall beauty is a student from the prestigious National Economics University (NEU) in Hanoi. Not only that, she also comes from the family of farmers and day workers.
On the event night, Do Thi Ha also wins other prizes including the Media Beauty, Fashion Beauty, and Sea Beauty awards.She brought home VND350 million (RM61,950) in prize money, while the first runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh and second runner-up Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao won VND250 million (RM44,250) and VND200 million (RM35,400) each respectively.
Ha also shared that she saved her own money in order to cover the costs during the competition. Moreover, it was also said that her family showed their support during her journey as a Miss Vietnam 2020 contestant.
