Recently, there’s a post on Facebook by a mother who shares how it breaks her heart knowing that her son was Covid Positive. People were more than touched to see how this mother did everything she can to see her son is well again and how the son himself is looking very calm despite fighting with a deadly virus. Her post on Facebook has garnered over 6.5K likes and 7.1K shares in less a day!
In her post, she told that she was very surprised when KKM called her to inform that her son, Adam was Covid19 positive. On their first swap test, both of them had negative result but after 10 days of home quarantine, on their second swab test, her son had a positive result. As a mother she was scared to think how her son going to survive in quarantine alone at the hospital.
So, she begged KKM to let her come along with her son. KKM did allowed her but she need to do another swab test and start counting the days from day 0. Without hesitation, she did it for her son. She also specifically requested the ambulance to silence off the siren as to not scare or make her neighbours panic.
On the second day, Adam start to complain to have sore throat. But since this disease don’t have any cure yet, it depends fully on one’s body immune. So, what she did was, she tries every remedies she knows to improve her son’s antibody.
Every morning she gave him salt water to gargle for 3 minutes before he brush his teeth. After that, she gave him some honey. At lunch she gave him vitamin C, and before bed, a squeeze of lemon with honey is a must. She did it for herself as well.
On the fourth day, Adam no longer have sore throat and has recover from fever too. Doctor informed her that kid can easily get infected but they also can heal in a short time too because after 10 days, the body will create a new antibody. It just that in time frame of 3-8 days, the body need to be strong enough to fight the virus. And Adam did it!
At the end of her post, she thanked all the frontliners who give them the best hospitality.
