To all car owners, do know every bit of the items that comes with your car has its importance? And it is very crucial for you to not just simply throws it away or lose it!

Look at your car’s key now, do you see the small piece of metal plate? A Facebook user recently has shared the importance of that metal plate on his Facebook post. His post has garnered over 1K likes and 5.8K shares where his post has enlighten many people who never knew what to do with that metal plate!

When you bought a new car, you will receive 2 car’s key and a small piece of metal plate attached together. Most people don’t really pay attention to that metal piece but do you know that it is very crucial for you to not lose it as it has the key code number!

In any event that you lost both keys, you just have to bring this key code number to your car service center to duplicate keys like the original ones. If you lost this code number, you can kiss your money goodbye as you have to change the whole key set and it won’t be cheap!

He also advise to use the spare keys once in awhile to avoid it from running out of batteries. If the battery for the remote is low,  put it close to the push-start button and quickly go to the service center to get the battery changed.

If car’s batter is low, he suggest to open car’s door using manual keys. You just need to push the button at the back of of the key. There’s another key to open car’s door manually if you use the push-start button.
