But, Haiyaaa~~~ Uncle Roger is busy busy now as recently he was involved in a controversy when he uploaded a video collaborated with a popular American food blogger and YouTuber Mike Chen titled, “Uncle Roger DISGUSTED by UGLY DUMPLINGS”. However, the clip itself did not discuss anything about politics but only purely review the ugliest dumplings ( jiaozi, bao, wonton…) making by one of the Asian chefs who lives in America.

But, Mike always criticized the Chinese government on its own social media platforms, he used to write posts about human rights abuses in Hong Kong. He against China’s Uighur Muslim minority and highlights Beijing’s pursuit of the Falun Gong, a religious sect that has been banned by mainland authorities.

However, Mike also wrote in his IG pertaining to this matter. He wrote, ” I hold no animosity towards Nigel for what he did because it’s hard to stand up to the CCP(Chinese Communist Party)’s tactics. I do hope that he learns more about the human rights abuses that the CCP has committed because he lives in a free country where he can do that.”
