Easy, Fool-Proof Cream Puff Recipe That Will Satisfy You Sweet Tooth!

Who doesn’t like a cream puff? This delicate sweet dessert is perfect to everyone, even those who don’t fond of sweet things. It is because it is not too sweet and it is usually in petite sizes which you can eat without feeling too guilty!

Since we are still in MCO, most people are keen on going out with the rising case. So, for those into baking, this user share on her Facebook which garnered over 42K shares of her easy yet fool-proof recipe for her creampuff!

First, we are going to start with preparing the ingredients. So here are the ingredients that you needed!

Ingredients For Filling 

  • 1/4 cup fresh milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 table spoon cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar (if you want sweet, put a little more)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup non-dairy whipping cream

Ingredients For Puff

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 to sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 3-4 eggs

 

Let’s start making!

Step 1: Add eggs, corn flour, wheat flour, castor sugar, salt in 1 container. Whisk until well blended. At the same time, you can heat fresh milk in a pot but no need for the milk to boil.

Step 2: Pour the milk into the egg batter while whisking. Once well blended, place the batter in a saucepan, stir over medium heat. Then, add the vanilla essence, continue stirring. When the batter is thick, turn off the heat. Put in a container, refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Step 3: Around 2 hours, whipped the non-dairy whipping cream. Rotate with a mixer until it is fluffy. When it is done, mix the egg mixture into the whipping cream, stirring little by little.

Step 4: Put the filling in the piping bag. Put in a box. Settle.

Step 5:  Put water in the pot. Place butter, sugar & salt. Stir until sugar dissolves over medium heat. Put the vanilla essence. After that pour all the wheat flour at once. When the dough is well blended, it will be “dough”. If you use a non-stick pot, it looks like the texture of the dough does not stick to the pot. Turn off the heat and cool for 5-10 minutes. When the dough is cold, use a mixer, add the eggs one by one. The dough will be shiny and not too thick or liquid.

Step 6: Put the puff dough in the piping bag. Before that, choose the appropriate form of nozzles.

Step 7: Bake at 160c for 30-40 minutes (depending on the respective oven).When it is then, cool it on the cooking rack!
