Face Up To RM2,000 Fine Or Jail If You Modify Vehicles Using “HELLAFLUSH” Tire

For anyone who loves modifying their car, take note that you can face a huge amount of fine and a jail time.

In the official Royal Malaysian Police Facebook page, they have warn anyone who modified their car to have a Hellaflush tire can be fine up to RM2,000! That warning post has garnered over 672 likes and 175 shares as of today.

In that post PDRM are aware that modifying car to have Hellaflush tire is being a trend nowadays. However, such modification can cause failure of safety system and brake function during driving that can risk the safety of the driver and other road users.

If the car owner insists on having Hellaflush tire, they will be detained under modification of vehicles without the permission of the Road Transport Department. If found guilty, they will be fine not more than RM2,000 or not more than six months in jail.

If you wonder what is Hellaflush tire is, its key feature involves installing oversize rims with a big offsets, lowering the vehicle’s suspension and using tires that are too narrow for the wheel where the tire had to be stretched in order to fit the rims.
