Covid-19 has taken over almost every aspect of our lives, bringing nations into lockdown with many businesses battling to stay afloat. A lot of people were affected by the pandemic, some were retrenched, some with pay cuts.
This man from Korea took it to social media shared a heart-warming move by the restaurant owner making him drop the idea to end his life.
This young gentleman as well was affected by the pandemic. Terminated by his company, trying his best to look for a new job however he was failing to do so. Then, he applied for some language course thought of improvising himself while he was jobless but the course was canceled too due to the surge of Covid cases.
Feeling stressed, depressed, and couldn’t foresee his future, he was with some negative thoughts, thinking probably he should just end this.
He thought for the one last time he ordered his favorite pizza and in the remarks, he wrote,” My last dinner”. The owner of the restaurant found the unusual remarks, worried that his regular customer came up with a bad idea. He immediately gave him a ring, asking whether he is ok and trying to comfort him.
The kind restaurant owner also delivered the meal by himself, and the pizza came with a heart-warming note, written, “Is everything ok? If you see our note, please give us some response. There will be good things happen in the future, let’s just forget about things that happened in the past.”
At the end of his post, he wrote, ” I felt much better now, I will work hard to get another job. I will definitely come back to your pizza shop again.”
