Although online shopping is very convenient, but sometimes when you are unlucky you probably will get something absurd! Just like this netizen she bought the latest iPhone 12 Pro Max in Apple official online store, but ended up she receiving an Apple too but Apple flavour yogurt drink.
According to Sina, this netizen from An Hui, China known as Liu bought an Apple phone in Apple official online store on Feb 16. The iPhone 12 Pro Max was priced at RMB 10099 ( RM 6320) at the time of buying.
She was excited and her parcel reached her 2 days later. She unboxed her parcel on Feb 18 with jaw-dropped. She couldn’t believe she received an Apple~~~~~ Apple flavour yogurt drink … WHAT????
Liu said: ” On Feb 16, I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max, gold colour with 256GB, paying RMB 10099 ( RM 6320). On Feb 18, 21:16 i collected my parcel from the pick-up locker and i unboxed my parcel. But, i couldn’t find my iPhone 12 Pro Max but only a 250ml Meng niu ( a brand) Apple flavour yogurt drink!”
Liu also mentioned it’s very obvious the box been opened before, the tape been teared off.
She contacted the delivery rider who in charged of her parcel, but no one pick up the call. Then she contacted the courier company ( EMS) and customer service of Apple store. It’s been too late so her attempts failed contacting them.
On Feb 18, Liu lodged a police report, the police officer suggested her to contact Apple store and courier company in order to get a better solution on the matter.
The next day the customer service of both Apple store and courier company reverted and said they will sorted out the matter in 2 business day. But after that no one was following up on the matter.
Hence, Liu reported it to police again and they will open a file to investigate upon the theft acts.
The preliminary investigation showed, the delivery rider knew the parcel was an expensive item. The parcel was perfectly sealed in the process of delivery. But he never handed the parcel to Liu personally, thus he will be suspended from work and disciplinary action will be conducted internally.
While, spoke person from Apple store told media a dedicated person was assigned to handle this case. The courier company already marked the item as lost item, and they will work hand in hand with Apple store on the investigation.
