The company that terminated the contract staff who acted rude in social media was pranked! 15 Foodpanda riders received order to send to the company with COD ( Cash on delivery) term, where charges amounting closed to RM500!
Incase you don’t know what is going on, a netizen making a fuss in Twitter blaming food delivery rider stole his drink and his rude and inappropriate online behavior not only brought him criticism but also termination from his company.

The incident happened on Feb 15, around 1.30pm, the said company Bateriku.com which located in Shah Alam received 15 food delivery via Foodpanda. But no one from the company ordered it.
The company assistant marketing manager then came up with a statement to clarify on the matter.
The statement read:
Following the viral tweet from a ex-staff who was from the digital publication team. Our company was shocked by the “Prank” food delivery which send to our company address. Obviously someone who is irresponsible did it on purpose and we felt bad to the 15 Foodpanda delivery riders.
Our end already informed Foodpanda to stop all the food delivery to our company address. Foodpanda is concerned about the hardship that we went through as well as their riders. We are grateful as Foodpanda void all the charges in this case.
We don’t push away the sustenance, since it was lunch time, so the food that the prankster ordered was distributed to the riders as well as Hero Bateriku. #Foodpandabateriku #kamifrontliners

- At around 1.30pm, we were surprised by 15 food delivery riders at our office. All of them received a prank delivery order to send to our address where they share there food order via Foodpanda app.
- All payment term via Cash on delivery
- Food order closed to RM500
- The prank was end up sorted out by Bateriku and Foodpanda
Beside that the riders also shared that all the order came with a remarks,” Jangan curi air aku..atau aju viralkan lagi rider curi air aku..( Do not steal my drink, or else i will make it viral again that the rider steal my drink)”
Hopeful this book will be close as this kind of irresponsible prank wasting so much of resources. The culprit better spend time on something constructive rather than wasting time pranking others which doesn’t help in the matter.
