The popular Malaysian influencer, Cathryn Li is making a headlines again after throwing tantrum in a live broadcast talkshow. A lot of netizens were actually quite surprise seeing her reaction as they thought as an influencer, she should be quite used to those comments online be it good or bad.
A day ago, Cathryn Li had been invited as a guest in Andy Chan Facetalk, a talkshow in Facebook Live. Where Andy Chan( Host), his team and Cathryn Li talk about a lot of things, which includes the statement she make years ago on women’s body sizes, RM170,000 she spend with her family for a meal in a Japanese restaurant, she was accused ” disrespect” after rejected a man who claimed himself advisor of minister for a coffee and many more juicy contents.
However, at one point where Andy asked her to demonstrate her piano playing skills and jamming with his crew. Cathryn, who usually plays classical pieces on the piano struggled to blend in.
During the play, some netizens’ comments triggered her. After the team done playing the song, she brought up the matter and claimed all the comments were all ‘scolding’ her.
She was overwhelmed with her emotion, and meltdown. The team trying to calm her. She cried and and defend her piano skills and said she come on this talk show to chat so she wasn’t told she need to perform. Thus, she was not prepared. Moreover, she never heard that kind of music before.
Then she said,” “I sit at the keyboard, people scold me, I sit here (at the table), people ask me what I’m doing, so should I just sit there (offscreen)?”
She then went offscreen during the live broadcast, the crew look awkward trying to comfort her as well as relax the atmosphere. However, she seems like refused to be soothed and at one point she can be heard shouting.
The crew then quickly wrapped up the talkshow after things went out of control.
The live talkshow went viral garnered 104k views, 1.2k responses and 1.4k comments.
