Have you ever been in a situation where you want to eat but you’re not that hungry to have a bowl of rice? Well, why don’t you have a noodle instead?
To commemorate the invention of noodle, let’s try to make one of the best noodle dish, the Curry Noodle! If you’re not a good cook, stay calm as this recipe is as easy as ABC! This recipe was shared by a Facebook user where she had amassed over 8.1K likes and 91K shares!
Since everyone is hungry, let’s get to the kitchen and started cooking!
Ingredients for the curry
- Chicken or beaf
- Deep fried tofu
- 2 bulb of onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoon of dried shrimp
- 10 stalks of dried chili
- 1 stalk of lemongrass
- 4 tablespoon of curry powder
- 2 tablespoon of chili powder (optional)
- 1 small box of coconut milk
- 1 cup of water
- 1 piece of chicken stock cube
Blend all these ingredients then add in a little bit of water.
Step 1: Heat the oil in a pot. Add in the lemongrass and the blended mixture.
Step 2: Stir fry until it cooked and fragrant, then add the chicken or beef. Let it cook for a while, only then add in the coconut milk and dissolved chicken stock cube.
Step 3: Control the thickness of the gravy according to your like, just do not make it too watery or too thick. Add salt, sugar and seasoning to taste.
Step 4: Left it to boil, then add the fried tofu.
Ingredients for the garnishing
- Yellow noodle (boiled it first)
- Fish ball (fried and sliced)
- Fish cake (fried and sliced)
- Bean sprout
- Parsley (sliced)
- Red and green chili (sliced)
- Fried onion
- Lime
- Boiled egg sliced into two
- Cockles and prawn (optional)
Plate in nicely in a bowl, then pour over the gravy. And the best Curry Noodle is ready to be served!
