Being a single parent is never easy. But a daughter who lost her mum in such a sudden way and left with responsibilities to take care of other siblings is even harder.
Recently, a father on Facebook shared a tear-jerking story of what he read on her 12-year-old daughter’s phone. The girl named Indah expressed her fatigue of doing house chores, taking care of younger siblings, and doing homework alone as her dad is too busy with his work. That post has amassed over 4.8K likes and 3K shares as many were amased by how independent the girl is.
The now single father wrote that even he found out about her daughter feeling on her Whatsapp, it is actually not sent to him. It was sent to someone that she always express her feeling to.
Reading the text, it breaks his heart making him felt like a failed dad. He lost his wife and their children lost their mother due to sudden death last month on Feb 6.

▼ I know. But dad went to work. He only come back at night. Then go straight to sleep.
▼ I want to tidy up the room but I want to do it with dad. I’m just tired. After school I have to take care of younger siblings.

I Mama was around, we can spend time. Because now, only dad taking care of us.

Reading this young girl confession making our eyes getting teary. The father also explain in his latest post that, he never burdens her daughter with the chores, she’s been doing it since their late mother was around as she already teaches them how to do simple chores.
