Being on social media such as Facebook, we all have a profile picture and many of us use our own face. There is nothing wrong on that but that is an opportunity for ill intention people to use our picture for their own purpose.

So, this woman on Facebook has shared how to safeguard your profile picture from getting stolen and used without your consent. Her post has amassed over 237 likes and 780 shares!

The purpose of that sharing was to teach people how to avoid getting their profile picture stolen by scammer or anyone with bad intention.

To have your profile picture protected, all you need to do is install this app called MonokaiToolkit which is available on PlayStore.

Step 1: Install the MonokaiToolkit apps from PlayStore. Complete the sign in process.

Step 2: Click the camera symbol on the profile picture.

Step 3: Click “Turn on the profile picture guard”. This is the example if you want to turn it off.

If you want to disable the safeguard, just click “Turn off the profile picture guard”.

Along with that post, she also included an advise for everyone to not always uploading their picture especially picture of kids for safety purpose.

She also reminded that this is just an alternative to protect your profile picture as people can’t download or screenshot the picture. So, if you still have doubt that people can still screenshot it, you can just put watermark on it.
