Yesterday was the first day of face-to-face school for pre-school, primary 1 and 2 students. I believed it’s chaotic at school because we have to adapt to the new normal as well as the Covid-19 standard operating procedures.

A primary 1 student believed couldn’t adapt well on his first day of school, feeling nervous and missing his mother badly had run away from school!

A video posted in a Facebook page, Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS went viral garnered more than 20k responses and 7.6k shares, where a school boy run away from school. The post came with a caption,” Budak cabut lari, Hari pertama masuk sekolah darjah 1( Boy run away 😂 First day of his school in primary 1)”

In the 1 minute and 14 seconds footage, a boy can be seen running while crying out loud in a kampung road. The one who took the video kept shouting at him, asking him to stop. However, the boy seems like ignoring the command and continued to run.

” Adik..adik.. Sini ada polis.. mari pakcik hantar balik ( Kid.. here is the police, let uncle send you back)”

Not long after, a lady in maroon blouse believed to be the teacher was on a motorbike coming from the back finally managed to stop the boy. When the man who took the video getting closer, it can be heard clearly that the boy was still crying out loud.

The teacher then told media, the boy was throwing tantrum and wanted to look for his mother. After a while the boy was exhausted and finally been carried up to teacher motorcycle to go back to the school.

Let’s check out the netizens’ comments:
