Ever since the pandemic, the world has changed immensely — the way we love, the way we look, the way we work. Especially those who work abroad, closed borders means they are not able to go home, meeting up with their loved ones. None of us can imagine the parents feeling, missing the children who is far from home.

A real-life story that circulated widely on social media, where a man who lives in Australia decided to return home to start his new chapter of life. The most touching part was his mother had no idea he decided to come back, until the moment he turned up at home, a tear-jerking scene where most netizens were touched. Sob~Sob~~~

The post read:

The pandemic has changed the world, including our plan. Initially we thought of bringing mum to visit younger brother in Australia. Mum said she wanted to try her best adapting life in Australia, maybe staying for 2-3 months. But she never thought her youngest son decided to move back to Malaysia.

Although his pay in Aussie dollar is way better than in Malaysia. Workload is Australia is relatively lesser, but he always celebrating all the festive season alone, as all his family members were in Malaysia~ Sometime we can see mum in tears when she video-called him, sometimes my little brother was in tears when talking to my mum.

Since he missed home, then just come back~

Although money is important, but we have plenty of chance to earn money. But not everything that you can buy with your money, at least not your time, your loved ones and time been together.

There is so much uncertain in life, we are not sure when we can see each other again.

Time taught us what is more precious now is life and love. You only live once and true love too.. when it’s gone, it’s gone ~

I believed those who work abroad or far from home miss home like my brother do, and parents who have children work far from home miss them like my parents do. Life is always full of infinite expectations..

Wishing everyone good health and happiness!
