Everyone do have their own religious beliefs and eating habits, and we should respect them. Especially those in Food & Beverages ( F&B) industry, should be professional in terms of serving their customers and understand their need. But not teasing them!
A netizen from Sabah, Miss Chong took social media to rant on her bad experience dined out with her husband in a famous restaurant serving western food, teasing them because they are vegetarian!
Her post read:
I’m just a vegetarian that do not eat meat, what is wrong with me? why are you calling me “Alien”? Alien not eating meat you mean? Why can’t you respect others?
Seriously, i don’t think this is funny. I do not know the restaurant owner as well as the waiter/waitress. But what i know is you are ill-mannered.
I was thinking today supposed to be a nice date with my husband and didn’t know it will ended up like this.
I normally never checked the order list, i really don’t know why i did that, probably god wanted me to see it!

▼” Upxxxxxxx staff is well known with their rude and unprofessional staff. Many cases before you, even the spitting cases which happened in Suria. But still the restaurant was packed with patrons. The restaurant owner also don’t bother about the customers feedback! I went to all their outlets, don’t really have a good impressions on them. Of course they do have some nice staff too, but still discouraged me to go their restaurant again”

One netizen replied,” Probably she thought you don’t understand. I’m fumed even reading your post, if i were you i will ask the manager to come up for an explanation. This kind of staff should give them a warning letter.”

Respect for people is the most fundamental principle. I don’t think anyone will feel good if they received this kind of treatment.
So, don’t do what you don’t want to be done to you!
