When we were young, our parents always tell us,” If you didn’t study hard now, when you grow up you are going to be a Garbageman”. Thus, a lot of us probably thought garbageman earn very little.
To prove our parents wrong, lately a garbageman/ waste collector revealed his pay slip in a Singapore social media page, his monthly income is as high as 5 figures in Malaysian Ringgit!

Facebook page, Singapore Eye shared that a S-pass owner showing one of the payslip. Netizens jaw-dropped as no one believe pay for a garbageman can be this much!!
The post read:
A S-pass owner showing his payslip online! He is a garbageman, his pay for one of the month was SGD 4458.61 ( around RM13,800). He said,” You don’t need to get mad working on this job. Pay is good, i rather seeing garbage everyday.”
- According to him, those working in the same field, normally is getting monthly wages around SGD 3,500 (RM10,830) and above.
- If overtime is included, their pay can go up to SGD 5,000 (RM15,470)!
