In Malaysia, if you take away food in Kopitiam / restaurants, they will either packed it in a plastic container or plastic bag. Some customer with more environmental concern will bring along their container to pack the food. But, i bet you never see one come “tapao” ( take away ) food with a little fish tank!!!

Recently, a Malaysian, Mr. Kwok took social media to share the way his dad take away food. He brought along a small little plastic fish tank and surprisingly the auntie, hawker that sells curry noodles really packed him the noodles!
His post read:
I was wondering the expression of the auntie in hawker centre when seeing my dad come ” tapao” ( take away) food with this little fish tank.
