What if you received an mystery parcel, the receiver is YOU. But, it’s not you that placed the order, will you receive the parcel?
A Malaysian netizen, HP took XiaoHongShu to share her experience where she received a mystery parcel with her personal information as receiver but she never placed an order. She also took the opportunity to ask if any other netizens have the same experience?
▼ She signed & received a small white parcel with her name, contact number and address written. The parcel consists a pair of brand new earrings.

▼ One of the comment with most no. of likes is about a netizen received a huge Tifanny gift box, she was touched at first thought of her boyfriend giving her a surprise then only she realised the parcel was wrongly send to her . As it suppose to send to her neighbour next door. Oh no ~ that was sad:(

▼ One who work in logistic company said the shipping invoice looked like from e-commerce seller in China. You check out is there any local logistic company. If yes, maybe the it’s their last forwarder. while the address should be wrongly key in. most likely she used to buy something from the seller. Thus they have the address.
It can also be a “brushing” scam. Where usually foreign, third-party sellers are sending the items are simply using addresses they discovered online. Their intention is to make it appear as though you wrote a glowing online review of their merchandise, and that you are a verified buyer. They then post a fake, positive review to improve their products’ ratings, which means more sales for them. The payoff is highly profitable from their perspective.
