In the middle of the night, i suddenly thought of sharing my part-time experience with everyone. I’m currently a university student in Year 1.
My timetable is overwhelmed! Online classes from Monday to Thursday, the class normally ended around 3pm – 5pm; Because, i got 3 classes on Monday, so no part-time job on Monday. So i won’t be overwork. Let me brief you a little bit on my part-time job!
Every Tuesday to Friday
I worked in a Fashion wholesaler store, as a customer service / packaging staff. My boss and lady boss are very nice to me. The plus point about this job : It’s near to my house and working hour is quite flexible. The boss leave it for me to decide to work for how many hours or days. But i tried to work as much as i can, so i can earn more money.
Workload : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Salary : RM8/ hour
Working hour : 4PM to 12AM ( 8 hours a day) ( 4 days in a week)
Job scope : replying customer enquiries, check stocks and packaging.

Every Saturday and Sunday
I’ll be a promoter in Supermarket ~ mainly promoting frozen food, it’s a permanent promoter job. I’ll working on every Saturday & Sunday. Very near to where i stay, so i don’t need to worry about the transportation.
Work load：⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Salary：RM100/ day
Working hour：10AM-7PM（9 hours a day, rest for 1 hour/day）
Job scope：Promoting food products, sampling sometimes and arranging the stocks on the shelf.

Online store
I do have a little online store, business is not bad. I started the business from scratch so it’s quite tough in the beginning. Taking product picture ate up a lot of time. Sometimes, i will be late in replying enquiries. Because i’m one man show, even postage also have to take care. So, schedule was packed.
Workload：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Salary：Although it’s just a small little online store. But i’m making a net RM1.5K a month.
Working hours：24hrs x 7 days ！
By looking at it, actually my monthly income consider not bad. I’m making RM3,300 to RM4,000 a month. ( For a student, who need to attend classes as well as working part-time, i think this consider quite good!) But, seriously i’m fully occupied! quite a sense of accomplishment, i felt myself quite productive!

A: This is subject to one’s attitude. Even you are at home, you can’t guarantee you spend 16 hours on studies. My result is still ok as long as no need to retake those subject. I’m happy enough.
