Ever since we are allowed to travel interstate, Malaysian also started to plan for their local trip especially to our favourite getaway spot ~ Genting highland. On weekend, sometimes you will even experienced traffic jam.
Recently, a netizen shared her horrible experience checking in Hotel in Genting Highland, as she found her room was dirty and in a mess.
Her post read:
Finally we reached Genting!
But the moment i checked in and opened the door. I nearly faint! I called the room service, told them about my room. But their explanation is~They will only clean the room 4 days once. What they can do for us now is only sending us toilet rolls or towels. They will not clean our room.
I’m speechless! Is it how you comply to SOP? How am i going to sleep in a room with the smell of cigarette.

▼ What a lousy excuses? 4 days only clean the room once? why don’t we just pay the room charges 4 days once.
▼ I just went Genting yesterday and it’s crowded. Thought of checking out the snowing but they cancelled it because of the rain.
▼ Some netizens shared: ” I went on December, the room was with a note clean +sterilised, it’s clean.” , ” I went last month, it’s clean too!”
▼ One also said, ” Impossible! I went on Nov 15 every room was with label that it’s sterilised unless the label was gone. You can ask for a new room.”

▼ Maybe it’s a misunderstanding! Where the room service staff thought you are the stay over guest, if you stay over then they will only clean the room on the 4th day.

Netizen B: You should highlight to the receptionist. You just check-in & you don’t need a room service but to change a new room.
