We normally will have some relatives doing house visit during Chinese New Year (CNY). I think we should keep all the expensive stuff in a safe place, or you probably will experience the same like this girl do.
Recently, a news went viral in Weibo ( social media platform in China), a poor young girl from ShanXi sobbing seeing the disastrous scene on her dressing table, as the kid of her relative had destroyed her makeup.
On Feb 14, In Xi An, ShanXi province a young girl’s relative bringing their 6-year-old kid to pay her family a visit. When they were there for a visit, the girl was not in. She went out for a while. But when she was back, she was in shock seeing her room was in horrifying mess.. what make her completely breakdown was seeing all her makeup ruined.
The kid emptied out bottles and crushed palettes, rendering hundreds if not thousands of ringgit worth of product garbage.
The girl was sobbing as she films the completely demolished makeup collection, as well as the terrible mess left all over the dressing table and floor. She said some of her makeup were gifted by friends while the rest she bought with her hard-earned money.
After knowing the situation, the girl’s father gave the relative a call. The relative felt bad and compensated RMB1000 ( Around RM660).

▼ Some criticised the relative : ” Hence, one’s upbringing is important..”,” The kid is 6 years old and still didn’t know she can’t simply touch or play with the things in other’s house. What kind of family education they have.. better don’t have any connection with this kind of relative.”, ” RMB 1,000 ?! Maybe RMB10,000 also not enough, some people will willing to save money just for a makeup they want. Looking at the kid’s behaviour, i can imagine how’s her parents behave.”

▼ After the post widely discussed online. The girl took social media to respond to the incident again. She said the loss is about RMB900 ( around RM595) , but the relative still compensating RMB1000 ( around RM660). The matter was resolved and hopefully netizens don’t overly commented on the matter anymore.
She also mentioned in the video that only the powder form makeup was damaged, the liquid form still in good condition.
