Recently, a rare incident happened in a cinema in Kuching. One of the movie goer reached cinema late and the movie started like 45 minutes ago, but the cinema paused and replay the movie. A netizen who was impacted by the incident took social media to share his unsatisfactory and his post went viral.

▼ But one netizen said : This is the story i heard.. The so called VIP is just a normal guest. The TGV staffs told them there was a technical issue and the movie will delayed for 30 mins. But when the guests were there, the movie started. They lodged a complaint. Thus the replay.
▼ Ridiculous! If the VIP is late. He should just get another ticket. But not asking everyone in the cinema to watch with him again. TGV should investigate come out with a statement on this matter.

▼ The incident being trending online and TGV faced backlash from netizens.
▼ Many wondering: “Who was the VVIP?” , ” Can restart if i’m late?”, ” Heard your guys taking care of VIPs?!”

▼ GSC again humorously replied to netizen asking whether can restart the weekend!「Same as movie, cannot restart ya~」

▼ In response to the issue, the management released a statement of apology, and later revealed their investigation result, saying that there were no “VIP treatment” involved in the incident, except that it was caused by the previous technical issue at their IMAX hall.
TGV sincerely apologises for the inconveniences caused also revealed that they will provide full refunds to impacted guests, in addition to two complimentary movie tickets.
