Losing your wallet can be frustrating, embarrassing, and if it falls into the wrong hands, it can be threatening too. But, looking at the high crime-rate, chances of getting back the wallet is probably low.
But this Chinese couple, Joan and Fedtrick are lucky as they bump into a good samaritan! An Indian taxi driver returning the lost wallet all the way from JB to Kulai. Joan wrote a heartfelt post on Facebook, thanking the driver for saving so much of their trouble!
The post read：

Horrifying! I couldn’t believe this will happened to my husband.
It was a happy morning, we went to JB Ah fu’s street for the curry fish head that we craving for. At first, thought of getting a Grab car to shop in Paradigm mall. But, looking at the little red taxi right in front of us. We were thinking just hopped on a taxi to Paradigm mall.
We thought the location is pretty far. So, when the driver asking for RM20. My husband took out his wallet and gave him RM23 instead. Then we happily go shopping.
After went into the first shop. My husband said his wallet was missing, most likely dropped in the taxi. We quickly went back to the place he dropped us. But, the taxi was no longer there since we left about 3 minutes ago.

We were dumbfounded and standing at the drop-off point. Another taxi was coming to us. So we took a ride back to where the taxi picked us and hoping he went back to pick up other passengers. The uncle in the taxi asked us what’s the car plate and whether the taxi with yellow roof or white roof. But, sadly we never noticed.
I think the taxi driver wanted to hit our head with slippers but he was wearing cover toes shoes, so he dropped the plan. He then remindeds us next time must take note of the car plate, colour of car roof, just in case anything happen. ( Of course normally we took a grab, so we never noticed all these.)
Along the way, my husband started to call a few banks to cancel the credit cards and bank cards ( Actually he have more cards and it’s so troublesome)
15 minutes later we reached the place we took the taxi, hoping we found the taxi we ride just now. But, unfortunately we couldn’t allocate him.
We don’t care then going back to customer service sorted out whatever we need to do then going to the nearest police station to lodge a report and so on.. 3 minutes later it’s our turn for the reporting. Then we received a call from our neighbour that a red taxi was waiting at our doorstep to return the wallet. Then we told the police officer we found our wallet.
The driver then took our mobile number. And the driver call my husband told him that he passed the wallet to our neighbour. The taxi driver followed the address in his IC and drove all the way from JB to Kulai just to send back the IC. we were so touched by his kind deed!

I don’t think the kind-hearted taxi driver saw this post as he is an Indian. But still i can’t help but to share the good deed of this driver. ( Of course, we did thank him in person).
As my husband IC been lost for 2 times. Not sure whether he will be banished from the state or not? The taxi driver also save us a lot of trouble to redo IC and so on. So thankful to this taxi driver!
I cut down a lot of details. We will checked our car seat before leaving the car. But we never today.
#We are so lucky! A lot of good samaritan in Malaysia still. Most importantly, million thanks to the Indian taxi driver for his good deed. I thought returning lost items only appear in text book but it’s actually in real life too.

Post author: He said he dropped us then pick up another customer. The customer found the wallet then after he send the customer. He drove straight from JB to Kulai to return the wallet.
