What should you do when your phone and wallet gets lost or stolen?
Don’t worry~ This Malaysian netizen took social media to share her real life experience. She lost her bank cards and IC. She shared 4 important things you should pay attention and explained on procedures to do replacement of the documents!

Lost your IC & Driving license, don’t worry! Just follow the steps below!
I’m so panic when i lost my wallet few days back. Here i listed some points, procedures to take note. Not a big problem, just follow the steps below!
① Lodge a police report in the nearest police station.
Make a clear statement on when and where you lost your wallet/IC. They will printed the report to ensure all information given correct before you stamp and sign on the report and you will need to pay RM2 for the service.
② Cancel your bank cards immediately
**To do replacement for bank cards, you will need to lodge a police report or after collect your new replacement IC only you can go to the bank for the bank cards’ replacement. Because i went to bank for around an hour queue only i was informed i need to have a police report only i can do the replacement.
③ JPN for IC replacement
Look for the nearest Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara ( JPN) ** Not sure is it all the outlets with replacement services. I will suggest you to make a police report first and get more information in the police station before heading to the JPN.
The whole process of took numbers and queueing took me around 40 mins, efficient! This is my first time losing my IC, so i will need to pay penalty of RM110. Lost your IC more than twice you will have to pay more!
④ JPJ for the driving license replacement
Please take note！Download the JPJ EQ App first before you heading to JPJ. When you are there, then the person in charge will help you to make appointment using the App. For replacement you will need a photocopy version of your IC. You will have to pay RM20. ( Only can pay via card. No e-wallet and cash). But you can get your driving license in 10 mins).
I can’t help but to praise Malaysia government for their efficiency! Bravo!

▼ Q: What if i forget to tell the police my driving license been snatched too? But i do gave police report. Can i show to the staff in JPJ?
A: You can’t! And you must re-do the police report. Or else you will be like my aunt get penalised.
