Food Rider Earning RM8280, Easy Job?! It’s 26 Days + 11 Working Hours Daily!

Ever since we started to have food delivery services, we always read on social media that food delivery rider is having a good pay. Not long ago, it was widely circulated online that a rider claimed he was getting a pay of RM18K a month. Sounds lucrative??

“RM18K!” People Jaw Dropped At This Foodpanda’s Riders Income In 2 Months!

A tweet went viral recently, where a food rider showing his pay slip for March. He compared the job scope and working hours, it’s actually a hard-earned money~

▼ It’s stated in the Foodpanda’s rider pay slip that on the month of March, his hourly pay is RM23.98; On that particular month his total work hours is 213 hours and pay for March amounting RM5107.30.

▼ Following that a netizen also shared in the tweet for his February payslip. He worked for 291 hours but hourly pay is slightly higher RM28.41. So, his income on February is RM8280.81.

Some netizen analysed February only have 28 days. The rider must be working more than 26 days and everyday more than 11 hours to have this working hours, thus the RM8000 over ringgit is not east to earn!

▼ Probably to some people this is high pay. But in fact, they sacrifice their time and risk their life for it. Please say thank you to your food rider.

▼ Some also sharing their opinion in Twitter : Although it’s a job that you can make quick money. But it’s not a good option as a long term career as not much skills needed. End up we are losing talents. One suggested maybe can work for 2-3 years, get some savings and learn a new skills for a career advancement.
