So, the next time you do grocery shopping in Lotus Tesco, you can skip the long queue!
Lotus’s rolled out this service since pandemic. Customer just need to scan the item that they want to buy to cut down the shopping time. We can see their effort in popularize this service. Unfortunately, not much people using it or probably know about this service.
I’m not sure whether you experience this scenario, you looking at the item but no price tag shown and you are not sure about the price? With this app, you will just need to scan the barcode to know the price of each item. Very convenient!

With the app, you do not need to go around to look for the scanner to check the price or when you are at the check out counter only you realise price is more expensive than you think or probably triggered an argument between you and the cashier. Isn’t it inconvenient?
Once you select the item you will just need to scan the barcode, the system will show the price in the cart as well as the total amount. Therefore, before check out for payment you can also do your own budgeting, in the case you are exceeding budget you can still decide which item to let go.

The best part will be.. you will be treated like a VVIP when you pay. Where a special lane for the payment. By just pressing a button, the cashier will attend to you like VIP, the feeling is so good!
After the payment, you do not need to move all the items on the counter but just show the cashier your app to proceed payment. Really super convenient!

But please be honest and not trying to miss out 1 or 2 items. The cashier will on and off check on the items~
Please remember to look for the 「scan and shop」counter! Normally this counter is without a cashier and the counter seem like close but please do not just stand there but press the bell to call for the cashier! The process will make you look like VIP especially next lane is in a long queue. They will be surprise as you get a special treatment.
▼ Q : Any limitation on number of items?
A: So far i added 100 over items and no problem at all. Add in your cart and as long as don’t click on “pay” you still can change the item.

A: The app don’t support online banking for now. After scanning at the counter, you can select credit card /e-wallet or cash payment.
