Working in Malaysia seems like not easy as price hike and salary never increase, moreover, Ringgit is getting weaker. Looks like working in Singapore will be better as Singapore dollar is stronger !

But this netizen regretted her decision working in our neighbour country. Although she is earning more and of course save more. But still he miss those days working in Malaysia.. as the hardship working in Singapore is unbearable!

The post read:

I used to work in Malaysia for 3 years but i never have much savings, my pay was low and price hike for everything. I’m close to 30 but still live without a savings i knew this is not right.

Thus, for the sake of money. I decided to get a job in Singapore( SG)! As SG Dollar  is much higher. Probably working for 2-3 years, i will be manage to save some money.

I’m kind of lucky as i managed to find myself an admin job, pay considered not bad. I had no hesitation at all and flew there for the job.

But when i reached SG i regretted on my decision. No doubt, i will be able to save some money but the rental here is super expensive. Food is surprisingly cheap and transportation is convenient.

After deducted the amount for rental, actually you won’t spend much on the remaining ( In the case, you are not the lavish type). The amount you can save in SGD to convert to MYR is higher than the amount you can make in Malaysia.

If only for the sake of money, it should be a good move. But, the hardship to work in SG is unbearable.

I think i’m someone who can go through hardship. But however, the working environment affected me. I started to miss MY after i came to SG, as workmates in MY are more friendly and patient.

But workmates in SG more realistic, sarcastic, some even talked bad behind you. This is a very stressful working environment.

Other than that, a lot of culture shocked! I’m not going to listed it here. But the conclusion will be Malaysian are much more cuter..

If i have a time machine, i will never make a decision to work in Singapore. But since decision made and contract signed, i can’t make any move for now but to endure the hardship.

I’m now praying to quit after 6 months and will be able to get another job which is better. Or else, i will be going back to MY. Now, everyday is tough for me.

In fact, why are we coming to Singapore? When our country won’t be that bad anymore? Then we don’t need to think about working in other country to make more money.

▼ I used to go through the same unfairness, teases but i knew if i go back i won’t be able to save that much. So, i stay put! Don’t give up as nothing will be easy in the beginning. Remember to go back to vote so, you still have a chance to go back for good. Still, Malaysia is a beautiful country.

▼ You salary will always be proportional to the pressure. In the case, our economy is as good as them we will have the same working pressure.

▼ I think the fact is not about the Malaysia’s economy but are you capable to get  high pay. Malaysia is more realistic in terms of pay.

▼ Give and take. Some Singaporean are nice too, it’s just you are not that lucky.

▼ Netizen: Since you make the decision to work there, then you should change the angle to look at this matter. Company politic is everywhere, even you are in Malaysia. Some took small salary in Malaysia going through the same. At least you have higher pay now.

Netizen: That’s the sad truth! When you said you went through hardship .. more people’s life is tougher than you. Since you are young gain more experience out there! More savings is better than no savings.
