A lot of Malaysians are getting more familiar in using ewallet to make payments but now you can also use TnG ewallet abroad too!
If you’re planning to travel soon and don’t want to carry a lot of cash, you can just pay using your TnG eWallet. Plus, it will also auto convert the currency too so you can see how much you’re spending.
Here is how ou can do so
▼ Step 1 : Open your TnG eWallet app. Click on the [ PAY ] tab.
▼ Step 2: Make sure you have some money in your e-wallet account. Then, swipe up the lower bar.
▼ Step 3: Put in your 6-digit PIN TnG for verification.
▼ Step 3: Now, you can scan your QR code to make payments in a ny countries! AliPay will automatically convert the curreency for you.
▼ Step 4: Or, you can change the country that you’re currently travelling to.
For example, you can made payment using TnG QR code in UK too.
However, you must note that if you have GO+ on your TnG, you have to make sure you also have money in your TnG ewallet account too. If you only have money in GO+ but not in ewallet, the payment cannot be made.
Another thing is, this method can only be use to be scanned. You cannot scan the merchant QR code. So, when using it, you have to ask their staff to scan your QR code.
