A Japanese netizen struck on an idea to collect the 500 characters of Koala! He gathered a few friends and bought a lot of Koala’s March cookies and started his marvellous project!
Koala’s March is in the shape of a koala and a picture of a cute koala on the cookie. The filling comes in various flavours, such as strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, banana. But the two most common flavours are strawberry and chocolate.
Every Koala’s March cookie carries the koala design on the outside. There are 500 characters to discover and each character is unique. When searching for your favourite flavour you’ll discover that each koala design is portraying a different activity and others show different costumes, moods and seasonal themes.
To avoid duplication and to have a clearer picture, he printed all the 500 characters on a piece of paper! It’s really amazing~

The boys decided to open the last pack of Lotte Koala March, hoping Ape Koala can be found in the pack. And thank god their hard work paid off, they managed to find all the 500 characters in 11 hours 19 minutes.
In total, they opened 104 boxes of Lotte Koala March’s chocolate flavour, 80 boxes of strawberry flavour, 20 boxes of fruits flavour and a few packs of assorted flavours packs for this mega project!
