The equipments in playgrounds usually comes in many shapes and sizes as the purpose of a playground is to be a safe space for children of multiple age to engage in free play.
Sometimes, we as adult do wish to play those equipements too but had to hold the thought as those are not in our size. But this girl let her intrusive thoughts win!
In a FB post by Friends of Bomba Malaysia, they had shared a recent incident where a girl was stuck in a toddler swing in a public playground. The post has garnered over 980 shares and 2.2k likes as of today.
The Post Read:
“Firefighters helped remove a 16-year-old teenage girl who was stuck in a children’s swing in the area of Sungkai Perdana Park. Firefighters used special equipment to cut the swing to remove the victim. The victim suffered no injuries and was removed safely.”
The 16 years old girl, wearing a sport attire was stuck being rescued by firefighters.
Firefighter had to use some kind of cutter to cut the metal swing as it is impossible to pull the girl out of the swing.
And now, we have one less functional swing for kids to play at the playground. So remember to think twice before using any public equipment that is clearly not meant for us.
