Wedding gifts customs and traditions vary from region to region. While in Malaysia, normally the Malay will give ” Salam Kaut” -monetary gift  to the newly wed couple.

A Tik Toker was sharing a video which went viral as when she was counting the “Salam Kaut” from relatives & friends, she found 2 pieces of RM20 which look “same same” but a bit different from other as it is hand-drawn Malaysia Ringgit!

The hand-drawn RM20 notes look extremely real, where we can feel the sincerity of the relatives or friends who drew that!

” We sat and counted the money ( Salam Kaut) from yesterday Wedding celebration.. Out of sudden..”

The caption in the video wrote : Is this the new notes? Or he/she is been advance. I thought it’s overboard to have tissue or empty envelope but this is even worst.”

The post went viral with a lot of netizen praised on the beautiful art work!

Let’s check out the netizen comments:

▼ If i were you i will keep it as a souvenir because not everyone get it.

▼ Netizen : Actually for those who cannot afford no need give any wedding gift ( money) Ustaz said it’s not mandatory but if you are visiting someone sick it’s mandatory to give money.

Creator : Thanks for sharing the knowledge. I just knew about it.

▼ He/She is more hardworking to draw the money instead making them.

▼ Maybe he/she does not have money, poor thing!
