A mother of a primary student in a Chinese national school claimed her son was bullied by a teacher. The incident been widely discussed on social media. But, yesterday it came to a twist! As another parent of the classmate revealing another side of the story on social media.
The mother of the boy claimed the class teacher twisted his workbook and threw his bag, stationeries and even his desk to the corridor, just because he can’t wrote a chinese essay as his command of the language is not good.
She further mentioned, her kid cried while keeping his stuff. Then he hid and cried in the toilet. Lastly, he took his courage went back to the classroom but the class teacher don’t allowed him to go into the class, he ended standing at the corridor.
” This teacher not only bullied student, but also instigated other students not to talk or play with my child. Threatened the classmates that action will be taken for those who play with my son. All the classmates were afraid and don’t dare to disobey the teacher. My son lost all his friends in a day.”
This mother claimed she got the details from other parents. The classmates also told her, if she knew the situation it will be even worst as he will be arrange to sit on the back row.
” When i asked them what do the back row means? He said those sitting at the back row been labelled the bad students that teacher normally scolded. Compare with scold or beat a student, threatened them not to make friend with my child, instigated other children to bully my child and even allowed other children laughed at him is definitely something horrible and should not happen in school.”
She also highlighted the teacher trying to isolate her child. So, her son dare not even go to cafeteria for many days. She tried to understand the matter from the headmaster but the headmaster never even concerned on her son’s feeling and just beat around the bush.
She added, the headmaster said the only thing to blame is her son’s is a slow learner, bad command of Chinese. Explaining the teacher’s act must have his/her reason, with a good intention. Maybe his/ her action been magnified and the headmaster highlighted that he can’t control the teachers who prefer physical punishment.
” Actually my son is not the only victim in this school-bullying. Before this incident, some parents also complaining that bags, stationeries, workbooks been threw away and been canned. However, the school are not intended to solve the problem. Teacher been covered, and i never even had an explanation.”
” After discussion with psychologist, i decided to let my child stop going to school and change another school for him. Since last year to date, 4 students including my child leaving the class and moving to another school.”
However, few days after this mother post went viral. Another parent from the same class took social media to share another side of the story. ” This is a very scary world, not only the teacher but also problematic parents.
This parent said if she never heard from her child. She never knew and probably will believe in the post too. Her child told her that the mother of this boy allowed him to go school with comic books. The teachers warned him several times but he never obeyed and continued to read his comics during the class.
She added, all the students were writing essay in the class only the child was reading his comics. It’s not the teacher that asked the others not to play with him. But he was using vulgar language to the extend the teacher asked the rest of the student not to learn from him.
“During the class of some other teachers, this boy had been running and jumping around. It affected other students. Actually some other parents in the class WhatsApp group did advised the mother that her son with some learning problem. But the mother don’t think the same.”
In regards to this matter some netizen think we can’t just listen to one side of the story, ” You trying to make people judge the matter publicly. Don’t you think it’s a kind of bullying too? You never even meet the teacher in person or understand the kid’s attitude in the class. The way you go direct to the principal is not a right way to solve the problem. You are trying to use peer pressure on the teacher..”
