We are going to have a movie shot in outer space. For real?!
Yes! It’s for Real .. On Tuesday, NASA Administrator Representative Jim Bridenstine confirmed rumours that Tom Cruise and Elon Musk’s Space X are working on a project with NASA that would be the first narrative feature film – an action adventure to be shot in outer space.
“NASA is excited to work with Tom Cruise on a film aboard the ISS,” Bridenstine tweeted. “We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make NASA’s ambitious plans a reality.”

According to Deadline, the private aerospace manufacturer SpaceX most likely will be the collaborators. Notably, SpaceX has plans to allow commercial space flight aboard its Crew Dragon capsule as early as 2021.
There has never been a leading actor who puts himself at risk as often as Tom Cruise , he broke his ankle in a leap from one rooftop to the other; hung from the side of a jet plane during takeoff and he scaled the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai skyscraper, and executed stunts 123 floors up and many more stunts on his own.
If he is successful shooting a project in Musk’s space ship, he will be in the Hollywood record books. The first ever shoot a movie in outer space. Stay tuned, people!
