Great News, everyone! The search was over..
The 7-year old boy, Hay Yi Jack who reported missing for 2 days finally reunited with his family.
According to The Star, the boy was found safe around 7pm on Monday (Jun 29) at his father’s home at the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Desa Rejang.
The boy who was last seen at PPR Air Panas at 4.30pm on Jun 27. Following that, Police issued a missing person’s alert to locate the boy. They came to PPR Desa Rejang following leads from public.
The boy’s father answered when police knocked on his door and they found the boy in the flat safe with no injuries.
It is learnt that boy was living with his grandfather in Setapak for the past six months as his parents were said to be in the process of divorce and living separately. The boy was said left home to go to his father’s place because he missed him.
The boy was later brought to the police station where police recorded statements from both the father and grandfather.
Police spoke person would like to thank public who helped to find the boy and solve the case.
