The man who allegedly drowned three cats to death in a washing machine at a self-service laundry in Kepong was arrested!
The cruel incident happened on Sunday (Jul 12) morning, when a woman found the dead cats when she opened one of the washing machines.
Malaysian Animal Association president Arie Dwi Andika said, “The woman made a police report at the Taman Ehsan police station for quick action to be taken by the authorities.”
A CCTV footage showing the man putting the three cats inside the washing machine has also spread online.
Netizens have condemned the man, while urging the authorities to act quickly.
Following leads from public, Veterinary Services Department (DVS) officers found the man in the CCTV footage and arrested him in his home. However, the man suspected with mental problem, doesn’t seems care and continued enjoying his food, even though the DVS officers wanted to arrest him on the spot, reported by China Press.
