Are CATS man’s best friend? I think YES, cats are just as emotionally attached to us as dogs.
A cat in Kelantan named Nana, 6-year-old has visited its late owner’s grave every day for two years now. The late owner who was a retired teacher was very fond of cats and always looked after his cats.
Hazlynn Nozi, daughter of the late owner’s of Nana told Malay Mail that Nana had a special bond with her dad. Before her dad passing, he was always the one that fed Nana in the morning before he went to the mosque.
While Nana will always follow him to the mosque, waited for him to finish his prayers, and followed him home like a bodyguard. Although they do have other cats at home too, this particular one had a special bonding compared with the rest.
When Hazlynn’s dad passed away two years ago, Nana lost her appetite and lost some weight. Losing someone who was so closed seems not easy for Nana too. She was better after 3 months, started eating normally.
What she did would show you how dearly she missed her late owner. She would linger Hazlynn’s dad’s favorite spot at home which is the swing and even sit in his old car. Nana also has been loyally visiting his grave since he passed away two years ago.
