A bride to be died after a liposuction procedure in an unlicensed beauty parlour. The deceased family is currently arranging her funeral. During this period of time, they will be also be collecting evidence to take legal action against culprit who caused the death of their loved one.
The deceased brother, Mr Siew, 26, told China Press that they already reported the matter to National Consumer Action Council (MTPN) where a case investigation will be carried out together with Ministry of Health (MOH).
” According to the hospital, the autopsy report for will be out in 1 to 2 months time. However, MTPN will follow up on the report,” said Mr. Siew.
“Once we have sufficient evidence, we will definitely sue the party that causing the death of my sister.”
The mother of the 23-year-old beauty practitioner (in charged of the liposuction), who was the owner of the beauty parlour never even called to apologise. He also mentioned that it’s been 3 years that his sister and her fiancé planning for their wedding reception in South Africa and Malaysia. The couple is trying to save money for their wedding plans. Thus, she will choose those economical deals in beauty saloon, hair saloon and even her nail art.
This was her first time going for plastic surgery. Sadly, it’s her last time too.
Her fiancé went back to South Africa for work 6 months ago, and couldn’t make it to attend her funeral due to the pandemic. The only thing they can do is to stream the memorials so he can mourned over the death and bids final goodbye to his beloved fiancée.
