No, Avatar 2 still isn’t done shooting. Don’t get me wrong! It’s just marking the end of filming for year 2019. But… at least Director‘s long-delayed sequel is one step closer.
The Avatar Twitter page introduced its followers to a craft that’ll be featured in the new film called Sea Dragon.
“That’s a wrap, Na’vi Nation!” the tweet read. “It’s our last day of live-action filming in 2019, and we’re celebrating with a sneak peek.”
That's a wrap, Na'vi Nation! 💙
It's our last day of live-action filming in 2019, and we're celebrating with a sneak peek. 👀

Back in October, the Avatar’s Twitter account shared another set photo, featuring director filming what looks to be some sort of sea-based disaster.
Wave machines, blazing fire, and @JimCameron wielding a 3D camera — just another day on the set of the Avatar sequels!
Thanks to producer @JonLandau for capturing the photo. Be sure to follow him for future sneak peeks. 👀 pic.twitter.com/MxuPlOIQ3e

Avatar 2 is scheduled for release on 18 Dec 2021, after many, many postponed release dates. Original cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver will be returning, with Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel and many more joining the cast.
A good movie is definitely worth the wait .. don’t you think so ?
