Singaporean girl, Felicia Teo was a 19-year-old student studying for a diploma in fine arts at the Lasalle College of the Arts. She went missing on Jun 29, 2007, after visiting a friend’s HDB flat at Marine Terrace.
The CCTV footage showed Teo entering the lift, went up to the 10th floor with two men who were her schoolmates. That was the last time she was seen on camera. The men claimed she left at 2 am, but Teo was never be seen again.
Her family then lodged a police report on Jul 3, 2007, for a missing person. Around 200 family members and friends were mobilized to search on the island for Teo. But, she was nowhere to be found.
It eventually became a cold case. Singapore Police Force ( SPF) said unsolved missing person reports are regularly reviewed for further leads. Fresh leads were found on its latest review in July.
The investigators traced the belongings believed to be in Teo’s possession when she was reported missing. Police linked one of her belongings to Ahmad Danial Mohamed Rafa’ee, 35, one of the men that entered the lift with her.
Ahmad, who goes by the name Danial Enemiko on LinkedIn is listed as a Creative Manager at gaming firm Razer since April this year.
He allegedly murdered Teo with suspected accomplice Ragil Putra Setia Sukmarahjana, now 32 who is the other man in the lift. Danial was arrested, while Ragil is currently not in Singapore and SPF is trying to locate him now.
Ragil’s LinkedIn page stated He has held various filmmaking jobs based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and was last listed as a director’s assistant. However, the two men’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages then went offline.
Initial investigations revealed that Teo had died between 1.39 am and 7.20 am in the HDB in Marine Terrace on the day she went missing.
The two were believed killed and disposed of her body. However, the cause of her death is not specified in the charge sheet. SPF is still searching for Teo remains.
In Singapore, the penalty for murder is death. We are hoping the truth will be revealed one day. May her soul rest in peace.
