Two patients who tested positive for Covid-19, are now in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in two separate hospitals, which is Sungai Buloh Hospital and another in Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Baru, Health Ministry’s director-general, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
“We do not reveal patient’s information to the public. But, we do have two patients in critical need of ventilation in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Dr Noor Hisham said when he was asked to confirm social media rumours that the 26th patient who tested positive for Covid-19 is in a critical condition.
Earlier on, he confirmed another 18 new Covid-19 cases which were registered as of noon today, bringing the national total to 117 cases. Dr Noor Hisham said that all patients have been identified and isolated for immediate treatment.
As of today, 3,803 deaths have been recorded globally, with 109,795 confirmed cases, while 60,695 have been cured, according to MOH’s statistics. Covid-19 cases have also been reported in 105 nations to date.
